• Leverage your strength in purchasing and experience as a hands-on supervisor into leading this boutique manufacture’s global supply initiatives.
• This mid-level manager’s role will requires an individual well versed in all aspects of the supply chain including domestic and off shore purchasing, short and long range strategic buying based upon sales forecasts, cost reductions, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, inventory management, production planning, capacity planning, very strong MRP / ERP experience are all integral parts of the position the Materials Manager will champion.
• Our client is seeking a leader with superior communication skills who has a thorough understanding with the materials requirements and flow to build highly engineered special purpose equipment or products.
• Ten plus years experience in a similar environment some of which is at a supervisory or management level, as well as a SCMP or CPP designation.
